This vintage antique Art Deco black and red silk roses floral embroidered piano shawl dates from the 1920s. It is made of a black silk fabric background, with colorful three dimensional raised padded satin stitch embroidery work and French knots done in an Art Deco decorative floral vine leaf pattern design. The embroidered designs vary and are done in only two corners. There are varying shades of black to red two tone hand knotted macramé silk fringe which measures 18 inches long surrounding the entire shawl. The shawls fabric square measures 42 by 42 inches. This beautiful bohemian Art Deco Spanish Flamenco style shawl is in good wearable condition, with only a tiny hole near the center and is a wonderful piece of wearable textile art!
