This antique Victorian era Brauer & Krohn Tailors gentlemen's black wool formal frock coat dates from 1900. It is made of a heavy quality black wool fabric. This gentlemen's dapper dandy formal frock coat is a long mid knee length, with a stand-up band style cadet collar, slight shoulder padding, long full sleeves, a high horizontal waist seam and center vent slit on the back skirt tails. There are black wool buttons down the front for closure and decorative button on the back and sleeve cuffs. It is fully lined, with inside padding, a breast pocket and "Brauer & Krohn Tailors Los Angeles" label. The coat measures 37 inches long, with a 38 inch waist, 38 inch chest, 16 inch back and 25 inch long sleeves. It is in excellent clean wearable condition, with only some missing buttons.
