This Edwardian era vintage women's linen travel motoring driving duster coat dates from 1910. It is made of a beige ecru cream color heavy quality linen fabric, with large mother of pearl buttons. This classic women's long loose fitting floor length duster motoring coat jacket has a fold over collar, two deep pockets, gathered shoulders, long tapered sleeves, with rolled cuffs and mop button trim accents and closures down the front. The coat measures 51 inches long, with 42 inch hips, a 34 inch waist, 36 inch bust and 13 inch back. This coat would have been worn to protect ones clothing from the dust and mud when traveling, riding and driving in a motor car. It is in good wearable condition, with only some small faint age spot stains on the front top and bottom back skirt. This is a wonderful piece of functional textile art.
