This vintage Nina Ricci Haute Boutique Paris NWT silk taffeta strapless cocktail dress dates from the 1980s. It is made of a charcoal gray and white silk taffeta fabric with an abstract Rorschach inkblot inspired design print. This stunning strapless cocktail party dress has a gathered neckline bust, ruffle trim edging, a cummerbund style waistband sash and side zipper closure. It is lined inside the top with an inner bustier and hand stitched zipper. There is a "Nina Ricci Haute Boutique Paris Made in France" designer label size 44 tag sewn inside and the original paper tag still attached on the outside. The dress measures 40 inches long, with a 34 inch waist and 40 inch bust. It is in excellent wearable condition and has never been worn.
