This vintage Japanese geisha pink silk screen floral gold and silver embroidered kimono dates from the Showa Period 1960s. It is hand stitched, made of a pale pink pastel silk damask satin textured fabric. There are colorful silk screen flowers, with silver and gold metallic thread couching embroidery work accents and purple shibori tie dye designs. This fabulous formal Japanese senior geisha kimono is fully lined and is quite heavy weighing over 2 pounds. The kimono measures 65 inches long, with 20 inch long kimono sleeves and is 53 inches across the shoulders. Included is the original tatoushi rice paper packaging wrapping. It is in good wearable condition, but does have a few small faint stains on the front top and bottom. This is a wonderful piece of wearable Japanese textile art!
