This Edwardian era antique white lace cutaway tailcoat jacket top dates from 1910. It is made of a sheer white cotton machine lace, with connecting brides and bars done in a scrolling, spiral, floral vine leaf pattern design. This lovely lace jacket top is loose fitting, has a mid length cutaway tailcoat style, with a scalloped petal bottom, bell shape flared bat sleeves and open front with no closure. It is sheer and unlined. The jacket measures 28 inches long, with a 26 inch waist and 40 inch bust. It is in good wearable condition, with only a few breaks in the lace. It is a wonderful piece of wearable textile lace art!
