This vintage Modele Shandel London white silk wedding gown train dress dates from the 1940s. It is made of an off white ivory color puckered stitched textured weave silk fabric, with a unique scrolling spiral design. This beautiful bridal WWII wedding gown dress has broad shoulder padding, long tapered sleeves with V point cuffs, a gathered neckline, pearl button trim down the front, a long back train skirt and side hook & eye closures. There is a "Modele Shandel London Made in England" designer label sewn inside. The dress measures 60 inches long, with a 80 inch long back train, 42 inch hips, a 25 inch waist, 34 inch bust, 13 inch back and 23 inch long sleeves. It is in good wearable condition, with only a small mend repair and some faint discoloration stains all on the back skirt train bottom. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique WWII wedding textile art!
