1920s Vintage Chinese Silk Embroidered Floral Cherry Blossom Pajama Lounge Set
This vintage Chinese silk embroidered floral cherry blossom pajama lounge set dates from the 1920s. It is made of a black silk fabric, with pastel silk raised padded satin stitch hand embroidery work of cherry blossom flowers. Included in this two piece loose fitting lingerie lounging outfit pajamas set is a robe style coat jacket, with black silk knotted button toggle closures, a mandarin collar, long full sleeves with flared cuffs and is fully lined in black silk, with an old "Made in China" label sewn inside. The robe measures 23 inches long, with 44 inch hips, waist and bust. There are matching loose fitting pants, with flared wide leg cuffs and a V front top elastic back waistband. The pants measure 41 inches long, with a 25 inch inseam, 50 inch hips, a 34 inch waist and 26 inch wide cuffs. This lovely lounging pajama set is in good wearable wearable condition and is a wonderful piece of wearable Chinese textile art which could easily be worn out today!
