This vintage pastel blue and white silk floral embroidered fringe piano shawl dates from the 1920s. It is made of a pastel cornflower blue color silk fabric background, with machine made raised padded satin stitch embroidery work done in a silky glossy white floral vine leaf pattern design. There is a hand knotted blue silk fringe which measures 18 inches long surrounding the entire shawl. The shawls fabric square measures 52 by 52 inches. This beautiful Art Deco Spanish Flamenco style shawl has some slight faint fade discoloration along the side. This is a wonderful piece of wearable textile art!
