This vintage Slovak Czech Bohemia folk costume pleated embroidered apron skirt dates from the early 1900s. It is hand stitched, made of a heavily pleated black and red linen fabric, with colorful woven, loomed and hand embroidered ethnic geometric pattern and floral designs. There is velvet, gold metallic, white lace and rickrack trim decorating the bottom and box pleats around the top. This women's fabulous folk Bohemian Czech Slovak peasant costume apron skirt has colorful braided ties for securing around the waist and is long mid length. The apron measures 24 inches long, with a 25 inch waist and a 172 inch bottom circumference. It is in good wearable condition and is truly a rare and wonderful piece of wearable Bohemia Czech Slovak textile folk art!
