This antique Victorian era Art Nouveau green floral stripe silk bustle gown dress bodice skirt dates from 1885. It is made of a olive green and off white striped, ecru beige Art Nouveau floral print pattern silk fabric, with dark green velvet and ecru lace trim accents on the bodice. This beautiful two piece visiting gown dress has a fitted bodice, with a high neck collar, lace yoke front insert panel, long tapered sleeves, belted sash with hook & eye closures. It is fully lined, with stays boning sewn inside. The bodice measures 30 inches long, with a 26 inch waist, 34 inch bust, 11 inch back and 23 inch long sleeves. There is a matching fabric long full skirt, with slight bustle back pleated drape, a strap sewn inside skirt for added fullness on back and hook & eye closures. The skirt measures 42 inches long, with a 26 inch waist. It is in good wearable condition, with only some slight faint underarm discoloration. This is a wonderful piece of wearable Art Nouveau Victoriana textile art!
