This Edwardian era vintage women's linen belted travel motoring driving duster coat dates from 1910. It is made of a beige ecru color heavy quality linen fabric. This classic women's long loose fitting floor length duster motoring coat jacket has a large rounded fold over collar, two patch pockets, a belted back, long full sleeves, with rolled cuffs and linen covered buttons for closure down the front. The coat is a large size measuring 55 inches long, with 42 inch hips, waist, bust, a 15 inch back and 27 inch long sleeves. This coat would have been worn to protect ones clothing from the dust and mud when traveling, riding and driving in a motor car. It is in good wearable condition and is a wonderful piece of early motoring textile art!
