This vintage Art Deco taupe silk silver beaded drop waist flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a brownish gray pale taupe color sheer silk chiffon fabric, with hand sewn beading done in an abstract Art Deco geometric pattern design. There is dark charcoal silver and pearl white iridescent beading. This fabulous flapper dress has a loose fitting drop waist style, with wide open sides, sleeveless, with a rounded scoop neckline, attached belted sash and shoulder snap closures. It is sheer and unlined. The dress measures 52 inches long, with 48 inch hips, a 34 inch waist and bust. It is in good wearable condition, with only a small faint water spot stain on the front neckline and 3 small holes on the back shoulder (see close-ups). This is a wonderful piece of wearable beaded flapper textile art!
