This vintage white and pink silk floral embroidered fringe piano shawl dates from the 1920s. It is made of an off white fine silk fabric background, with machine made raised padded satin stitch embroidery work done in a silky glossy coral pink, yellow and mint green floral vine leaf pattern design. There is a hand knotted off white silk fringe which measures 17 inches long surrounding the entire shawl. The shawls fabric square measures 54 by 54 inches. It is in good wearable condition, with only a small faint age spot along the side. This beautiful bohemian Art Deco Spanish Flamenco style shawl is a wonderful piece of wearable textile art!
