1920s Vintage Cream Silk Beaded Bridal Wedding Dress Tambour Lace Veil & Photo
This antique cream silk beaded bridal wedding dress lace veil and photo dates from the 1920s. It is made of an off white cream color silk fabric, with tiny silver metallic mercury glass beaded trim sewn around the neckline and along the scalloped bottom hemline. This beautiful bridal wedding dress is sleeveless, with a drop waist, smocking pleated gathers around the hips, a rounded scoop neckline, silk sash cummerbund style belt and side snap closures. The dress measures 46 inches long, with 36 inch hips, a 32 inch waist and 38 inch bust. It is in good wearable condition, with only some split frayed discoloration under the arms. There is an off white net tambour embroidery lace wedding veil, with a fitted bonnet cap hat style and long scalloped edge lace trim rounded bottom veil draping train back. The veil measures 104 inches long and has a few tiny faint age spot stains. Included is the original 18 by 18 inch black & white wedding photograph of the happy couple. This is a rare and wonderful collection of wearable wedding 1920s flapper bridal textile art!
