Vintage 1920s Cream Silk Crepe Floral Smocking Embroidered Boho Peasant Dress
This vintage cream silk crepe floral smocking embroidered boho peasant dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of an off white ecru cream color sheer crepe silk georgette fabric, with cream color needlework floral raised padded satin stitch hand embroidery work, decorative stitched smocking and crochet lace trim. This pretty peasant style bohemian Hungarian Czech folk dress is a long tea length, with a V front neckline, shoulder smocking, 3/4 length sleeves with fitted smocked cuffs and waistband. The dress measures 58 inches long, with 38 inch hips, a 28 inch waist and 38 inch bust. It is in excellent wearable condition. This is a wonderful piece of wearable bohemian peasant textile folk art!
