This antique Victorian era women's cotton calico chintz Orientalism morning gown robe dress dates from 1890. It is made of a vibrant colorful crisp cotton calico chintz Oriental inspired floral print fabric with an outstanding graphic design. This magnificent morning gown style women's dressing gown robe is a loose fitting long floor length, with a ruffled flounce collar, long full sleeves, fitted ruffle cuffs, an open front with attached matching fabric belted sash for closure and is unlined. The dress measures 62 inches long, with 44 inch hips, waist and bust. It is in excellent wearable condition and looks to have been barely worn. This is truly a rare and wonderful piece of Victoriana Orientalism textile art!
