This vintage amazing Art Deco black velvet gold stenciled oak maple leaf cocoon opera coat dates from the 1920s. It is made of a black silk velvet fabric, with a gold lamé metallic painted hand stenciled oak or maple leaf pattern x-ray negative image unique design. This exquisite evening opera cocoon wrap coat is loose fitting with a long full boxy style, a large rolled green velvet standup collar, long full sleeves and a open front with no closure. It is fully lined in a green silk velvet fabric. The coat measures 46 inches long, with 46 inch hips, waist and bust, a 16 inch back and 24 inch long sleeves. It is in good wearable condition. This is truly a high quality wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco textile art!
