1920s Vintage Pleated Ruched Navy Blue Silk Drop Waist Dress & Cloak Cape Large Size
This vintage Art Deco pleated ruched navy blue silk drop waist dress and cloak cape dates from the 1920s. It is made of a dark navy blue silk fabric, with a pleated, gathered, ruche texture creating unique design details. This fabulous flapper ensemble includes a loose fitting drop waist style dress, with a rounded scoop neckline, long sleeves and ribbon trim around the hip area and skirt. The dress is a large size measuring 44 inches long, with 40 inch hips, waist, bust, a 16 inch back and 24 inch long sleeves. Included is a matching mid length cloak cape, with ribbon trim roundel medallions along the bottom hemline and on the shawl style collar with neck tie closure. The cape measures 30 inches long, with a 26 inch neck and 65 inch bottom circumference. It is in good wearable condition, with only a tiny pin hole on the dress back neck. This is a wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco textile art!
