This vintage black lace net silk applique purple flower bias cut dress gown dates from the 1930s. It is made of a sheer black fine silk net lace fabric, with a floral pattern and black silk cut out applique flowers decorating the skirt. There is a large purple and pink silk flower trim sewn onto the shoulder. This beautiful bias cut dress long floor length evening gown has plunging V necklines and full flared bell shape sleeves. It is sheer and unlined. The dress measures 55 inches long, with 38 inch hips, a 34 inch waist and 38 inch bust. It is in good wearable condition, with only a small frayed hole on the front neckline (see close-up). This is a wonderful piece of wearable lace textile art!
