This vintage pleated pink silk turquoise beaded drop waist slip dress and blouse dates from the 1920s. It is made of a sheer pale pastel pink silk chiffon fabric, with turquoise blue beaded tassel fringe trim. This fabulous flapper ensemble includes a loose fitting drop waist style slip dress, with a V front neckline, sleeveless, with a pleated short skirt. The dress measures 39 inches long, with 36 inch hips, waist and bust. Included is a matching drop waist style sailor middy blouse tunic top, with a squared neckline, sailor collar, long sleeves, rolled cuffs, peplum skirted bottom and side snap closures. The blouse measures 25 inches long, with a 36 inch waist, 40 inch bust and 15 inch back. Both pieces are sheer and unlined. It is in good wearable condition, with only a faint water spot stain on the front dress and a small fray on the dress back neckline (see close-up).
