This vintage peach silk chiffon lace rosette negligee peignoir robe and chemise slip nightgown dates from the 1920s. It is hand stitched, made of a pale pastel peach sheer silk chiffon fabric, with ecru net lace trim and tiny blue silk rosette ribbon flower trim. This lovely lingerie negligee peignoir set includes a long loose fitting chemise shift style slip dress nightgown, with pleating, gathering underneath the lace yoke and lace shoulder straps. The slip measures 50 inches long, with 40 inch hips, waist and a 34 inch bust. There is a matching lace trimmed, loose fitting, dressing gown robe cape, with dolman sleeves, pink silk bow ribbon trim and button closure on front. The square shaped robe measures 31 inches long, with a 55 inch waist and bust. It is in good wearable condition, with a few tiny faint age spots and some small frayed breaks in the lace net trim (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of fine quality high end lingerie!
