This vintage black chantilly lace silk sequin beaded drop waist dress gown dates from the 1920s. It is made of a sheer black fine net cobweb chantilly lace fabric, with a floral and silk ribbon bow design pattern. There is a black sequin beading across the top neckline. This lovely lace long floor length evening gown drop waist dress has plunging necklines, is sleeveless with a draping lappet lace shawl collar and layered tiered ruffle full skirt. It is sheer and lined in a delicate black silk chiffon fabric backing. There is no opening or closures. The dress measures 55 inches long, with 38 inch hips, a 28 inch waist and 34 inch bust. It is in good wearable condition, with a several small holes in the lace and some frays in the silk lining (see close-up). This would be great for design and is a wonderful piece of wearable lace textile art!
