This antique Victorian era silk wedding dress bridal lot includes a blouse, skirt, petticoat, camisole, stockings, shoes, gloves and dates from 1900. The two piece wedding gown is made of an off white cream color fine silk fabric, with an embroidered applique lace yoke, collar and cuffs. This beautiful bridal wedding dress blouse has a high neck collar, long full sleeves, a belted silk sash waist and is lined with stays boning inside. There is a matching silk long full floor length skirt with slight back train. The blouse measures 18 inches long, with a 24 inch waist, 32 inch bust and 12 inch back. The skirt measures 40 inches long, with a 24 inch waist. Included is the original white cotton undergarments; a white lace trim camisole top and embroidered hemline drawstring petticoat skirt. Also included are a pair of white cotton stockings, kid leather shoes from "Thayer McNeil & Hodgkins Boston", a women's and men's pair of kid leather gloves. The shoes measure 10 inches long, 2 1/4 inches wide, with a 1 1/2 inch heel. These items are in good wearable condition, but have all been used with some wear. The silk wedding gown has some faint age spotting, discoloration under the arms and soiling along the bottom skirt hemline. The stockings have staining along the foot, some flaking on the shoe heels, soiling on the finger tip gloves and separation on the men's pair. This is a wonderful collection of Victoriana wearable wedding bridal textile art!
