This exquisite vintage white embroidered batiste filet lace belted drop waist dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a sheer white net filet lace crochet and fine white cotton batiste fabric with raised padded satin stitch, French knot embroidery work, drawn cut work done in a decorative floral vine leaf pattern design. This lovely lace drop waist dress is loose fitting, with an attached belted sash, fancy brass buckle clasp, long tapered sleeves and a handkerchief hem short skirt. It is sheer and unlined. The dress measures 37 inches long, with 34 inch hips, a 36 inch waist, 36 inch bust and 14 inch back. It is in good clean wearable condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable lace art!
