This vintage white embroidered batiste filet lace nightgown dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a sheer fine white cotton batiste fabric with raised padded satin stitch, French knot embroidery work done in a decorative floral, grape vine leaf pattern design and pleated white net, filet lace inserts. This lovely lace loose fitting dress nightgown has a squared neckline, short sleeves and layered wrap back skirt. It is sheer and unlined. The dress is a large size measuring 46 inches long, with 42 inch hips, a 42 inch waist, 40 inch bust and 17 inch back. It is in good clean wearable condition and could be worn either as a dress or nightgown. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable lace art! $150 |
