This Edwardian era vintage women's white linen irish crochet lace duster coat dates from 1910. It is made of a white quality linen fabric, with a white irish crochet lace collar and cuff trim. The large lace shawl style collar has three dimensional raised floral rosette pattern, with meshwork, connecting brides, thread bars and an artistic structural design. This lovely lace women's long loose fitting duster coat jacket has a plunging V front neckline, long full sleeves and 3 large mother of pearl buttons for closure. The coat measures 45 inches long, with 44 inch hips, a 40 inch waist, 38 inch bust, 12 1/2 inch back and 22 inch long sleeves. This coat would have been worn to protect ones clothing from the dust and mud when traveling, riding and driving in a motor car or train travel. It is in good clean wearable condition and is a wonderful piece of antique textile art!
