This vintage Barbara Lee France Art Deco teal blue beaded velvet flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a teal blue color silk velvet fabric, with contrasting charcoal gray hand bead work done in an Art Deco striped leaf pattern design. This fabulous flapper dress is loose fitting, with a shift drop waist style, gathered pleated sides, sleeveless, rounded neckline and has a "Barbara Lee Made in France" designer label sewn inside. The dress measures 46 inches long, with 38 inch hips, waist and bust. It is in good condition, with a few loose missing beads and faint underarm discoloration. This is a wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco beaded textile art!
