This antique early Victorian era white silk brocade wedding bridal bodice corset top dates from the 1840s. It is made of an off white ivory cream color silk damask floral brocade fabric. This beautiful bridal bodice has a rounded high neckline, with short cap sleeves, layered tiered cream silk fringe trim cuffs and corseted lace-up back for closure. It is fully lined in linen, with a cotton batting padded front bust enhancer and stays boning sewn inside. The bodice measures 16 inches long, with a 22 inch waist, 32 inch bust and 12 inch back. It is in good wearable condition, with only some yellowing staining under the arms and a few small faint age spot stains on the inside lining. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable wedding early Victoriana and a rare find!
