This vintage Edwardian era white linen soutache trim walking suit jacket and skirt dates from 1910. It is made of a starched white linen fabric, with raised soutache braided trim in a spiral scrolling design. This wonderful women's walking suit travel outfit includes a tailored suit jacket, with soutache trim, a narrow lapel collar, V front opening, gathered shoulders, long sleeves with rolled cuffs, a fitted back, sides and knotted rope button toggle closure front. The jacket measures 27 inches long, with a 30 inch waist, 32 inch bust, 13 1/2 inch back and 23 inch long sleeves. Included is a long floor length full skirt, with no soutache trim, pleated bottom and snap closures. The skirt measures 36 inches long, with 36 inch hips and a 24 inch waist. It is in excellent clean starched wearable condition. This is a wonderful piece of wearable antique textile art!
