This vintage Art Deco orange lamé gold metallic black silk bias cut belted dress dates from the 1930s. It is made of a orange Oriental floral pattern silk lamé fabric, with gold metallic threads woven through it and a black silk satin fabric bottom skirt. This beautiful bias cut dress has a belted back tie sash, short sleeves, V front neckline, short mid length straight skirt and side snap closures. The dress measures 50 inches long, with 42 inch hips, a 34 inch waist and 36 inch bust. It is in good wearable condition, but does have two small holes on the back skirt and a tiny fray on one shoulder (see close-up). This would be great for design and is a wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco textile art! $200 |
