This amazing Art Deco vintage black silk chantilly lace beaded flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a black silk fabric, with sheer black net overlay skirt and black jet beading done in an Art Deco abstract floral pattern design. There is black beaded fringe along the side and faceted bead trim edging the top. The sleeve cuffs are made of a fine black chantilly lace with beaded accents around the cuffs. This fabulous flapper dress has a loose fitting drop waist layered drape front wrap style, with beaded yoke insert squared front neckline, long full sleeves, is fully lined, with snap closures. It is quality made with great detail construction and is quite heavy weighing over 3 pounds. The dress measures 55 inches long, with 36 inch hips, a 36 inch waist and 36 inch bust. It is in good wearable condition, with only a few loose missing beads and a couple of small holes in lace sleeves. This is truly a wonderful piece of Art Deco wearable beaded textile art!
