This vintage white silk beaded bobbin lace wedding dress watteau train gown dates from the 1920s. It is made of an off white silk satin fabric, with white and pearl beaded net trim inserts. There are hand made Brussels Duchesse bobbin lace with Point de Gaze needlepoint insertion trim sewn onto the back cape panel sides. This beautiful bridal wedding gown dress has a loose fitting drop waist shift style, sleeveless, with a squared neckline, an attached back cape panel and detached long watteau train which falls from the shoulders, with a beaded net overlay along the bottom half. It is fully lined and custom made with wonderful workmanship and details. The dress measures 44 inches long, the separate back train panel is 88 inches long and 17 inches wide, with 38 inch hips, a 38 inch waist and 38 inch bust. It is in good wearable condition, with only some slight discoloration under the arms and a faint water spot stain on the front skirt. This is truly a rare and exceptional piece of antique wedding textile lace beaded art!
