Vintage 1920s Black Silk Pink Embroidered Pleated Skirt Drop Waist Flapper Dress
This vintage Art Deco black silk pink embroidered pleated skirt drop waist flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a black silk crepe de Chine fabric, with pleating along the front skirt, a blush pink silk trim inside the front neckline and pastel chain stitch embroidered flower applique trim. This fabulous flapper dress is loose fitting has a drop waist, long sleeves with fitted button cuffs, a pearl button lapel collar, two decorative front skirt patch pockets and is fully lined with a black silk slip lining sewn inside. The dress measures 38 inches long, with 38 inch hips, waist, bust and 14 inch back. It is in good wearable condition, with only some faint underarm discoloration. This is a wonderful wearable piece of Art Deco textile art!
