This antique Victorian era black silk chenille fringe short cropped cloak cape capelet dates from 1880. It is made of a black linen fabric, with black silk fringe and chenille tassel trim layered rows covering it. This stunning short cropped cloak cape capelet has a hook closure at the neck. The cape measures 12 inches long, with a 43 inch bottom circumference and 30 inch shoulders. It is in good wearable condition, with only a few faint age spot stains and some missing fringe which is barely noticeable. This is a wonderful piece of Victoriana wearable art!
