1920s Vintage White Chantilly Lace Handkerchief Hem Drop Waist Flapper Dress
This vintage Art Deco white chantilly lace handkerchief hem drop waist flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a off white cream color sheer chantilly lace net fabric. This fabulous flapper dress has a drop waist belted sash with half of a rhinestone buckle trim, sleeveless, with a large shawl style capelet collar, a low rounded scoop neckline and an uneven handkerchief hemline skirt. There is a silk slip lining sewn inside. The dress measures 40 inches long, with 34 inch hips, a 34 inch waist and 34 inch bust. It is in good condition. There are several small holes in the lace collar along the shoulders (see close-up). This would be great for design and is a wonderful wearable piece of Art Deco textile art!
