This vintage antique red embroidered paisley pashmina cashmere shawl dates from the 1920s. It is made of red soft fine cashmere wool fabric with colorful hand stitched embroidery work done in a paisley pine cone shaped tear drop motif known as the boteh. There is a decorative embroidered trim border edging. This beautifully embroidered pashmina style shawl wrap measures 80 inches long and 40 inches wide. It is in good wearable condition, with only a few tiny moth nip holes. This is a wonderful piece of wearable paisley textile art!
