This Edwardian era sapphire blue velvet black toggle evening coat dates from 1910. It is made of a bright vivid sapphire blue color silk velvet fabric, with beautiful black silk rope toggle trim button closures on the front. This brilliant blue winter evening coat has a long mid length loose fitting boxy style, with a fold over lapel collar, long full sleeves and is fully lined with a taupe color silk fabric. The coat measures 37 inches long, with 40 inch hips, waist & bust, a 15 inch back and 25 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
