This vintage Semont New York black chantilly lace evening gown long dress dates from the 1950s. It is made of a nude blush color silk taffeta fabric, with a sheer black silk organdy fabric overdress, with pleating and chantilly lace trim inserts. This sophisticated quality made elegant evening gown has a fitted waist, long full skirt, sleeveless, rounded scoop neckline and key hole opening with back zipper closure. It is fully lined, with wonderful construction details and a "Semont New York" label sewn inside. The dress measures 51 inches long, with a 24 inch waist and 34 inch bust. It is in good condition, with some fraying along the front arm hole seam (see close-up). This is a wonderful retro classic cocktail evening gown dress!
