This vintage brown silk pleated skirt drop waist floral embroidered boho peasant dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a brown silk crepe fabric, with colorful floral raised padded satin stitch hand embroidery work and smocking. This pretty peasant style bohemian Hungarian Czech folk dress has a drop waist, V front neckline, fold over collar, long full sleeves, smocked cuffs, waistband and accordion pleated form fitting skirt. The dress measures 42 inches long, with 36 inch hips, a 28 inch waist, 40 inch bust and 24 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, with only a tiny hole on the back shoulder (see close-up). This is a wonderful piece of wearable bohemian peasant textile folk art!
