Vintage Silk Rosette Trim White Embroidered Net Filet Lace Drop Waist Dress
This exquisite vintage silk rosette trim white embroidered net filet lace drop waist dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of an off white sheer net fabric, with raised padded satin stitch embroidery work and filet lace inserts done in a decorative floral vine leaf pattern design. There is a large pretty pastel colorful silk rosette ombre ribbon work applique trim outlined in gold metallic thread sewn onto the front neckline. This lovely lace drop waist dress is loose fitting, with a chemise straight shift style, sleeveless, with a rounded neckline and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 44 inches long, with 40 inch hips, a 38 inch waist and 36 inch bust. It is in good condition, with a few tiny holes on the front net (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable lace art!
