This amazing antique vintage silver metallic lamé silk embroidered floral leaf coat jacket was created from 1920s embroidered fabric, but has a 1940s construction style and lining. It is custom made of a silver metallic silk lamé fabric, covered with colorful beautifully done raised padded satin stitch hand embroidery work designs with a variety of embroidered flowers, leaves and branches. This exquisite evening jacket coat has a loose fitting, boxy style, is mid length, with long full sleeves, a fold over front panel with snap closures and is fully lined in a newer shiny silver metallic lamé fabric. The coat measures 22 1/2 inches long, with a 36 inch waist, 36 inch bust, 13 inch back and 23 inch long sleeves. It is in excellent condition. This is truly an exceptional piece of wearable textile art!
