This amazing Art Deco blue and yellow silk beaded velvet rosette drop waist flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a blue gray color sheer silk chiffon fabric, with blue & silver beaded floral star shape leaf applique's. There are tiny blue velvet rosette flowers and a blue & yellow silk ombre ribbon belted sash. This fabulous flapper dress has a drop waist, belted waist, sleeveless, with a scalloped hemline skirt and side snap closures. There is a yellow silk satin slip dress lining sewn inside, with gold metallic lamé lace trim edging. The dress measures 45 inches long, with 32 inch hips, a 32 inch waist and 34 inch bust. It is in as-is fair condition and needs some restoration and would be great for design, study or pattern. There are some small faint age spot stains and a few tiny holes on the front top, with a 1 inch fray on the back top and repairs on the shoulder straps. This is truly a rare and unique piece of wearable Art Deco textile art!
