This vintage navy blue silk soutache embroidered belted blouse and drop waist dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a navy blue color sheer silk fabric, with a braided trim soutache embroidery work Art Deco spiral scrolling design and french knot light blue yarn circles. This delightful day dress ensemble includes a plain, loose fitting drop waist dress, with long full bishop style sleeves, fitted cuffs, a wide lapel collar, neck tie and is unlined. The dress measures 44 inches long, with 46 inch hips, a 42 inch waist, 44 inch bust, 15 inch back and 23 inch long sleeves. There is a matching color sheer silk chiffon fabric shirt blouse overtop, with 3/4 length full sleeves and a belted back tie. The blouse measures 23 inches long, with a 42 inch waist, 46 inch bust, 16 inch back and 15 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, with several tiny pin holes on the blouse. This is a wonderful wearable piece of Art Deco textile art!
