This vintage Art Deco black silk floral embroidered piano shawl long robe coat dates from the 1920s. It is made of black silk crepe fabric, with pink and yellow silk raised padded satin stitch embroidered flowers and Art Deco abstract fan, feather leaf designs. This lovely long loose fitting kimono robe style coat is floor length, with an open front, no closure, sleeveless with long black silk fringe trim edging around the arm holes and is unlined. The robe measures 55 inches long, with 55 inch hips, waist, bust and 27 inch long fringe sleeves. It is in good condition, but has not been cleaned with only 2 small faint spots on the front lapel and a few tiny pulls in the embroidery work. This is a wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco textile art!
