This vintage Harrods pink silk quilted gold trim stitched peignoir robe dressing gown dates from the 1940s. It is made of a pale pink silk crepe de chine and satin fabric, with quilted raised puffy puckering stitching creating a floral polka dot design accented with gold metallic thread trim. This lovely lingerie negligee peignoir robe dressing gown is a long floor length, with a wide collar, snap closure on neck, gathered shoulders with slight padding, long full bishop style sleeves with fitted cuffs and is fully lined. There is a "Harrods Argentina" store label sewn inside. The robe measures 60 inches long, with 45 inch hips, a 40 inch waist, 40 inch bust, 15 inch back and 31 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, with some slight fraying on the sleeve cuffs and the inside silk lining. This is truly a rare and exceptional piece of fine quality high end lingerie!
