This Edwardian era vintage men's linen double breasted travel motor driving duster coat dates from 1910. It is made of an ecru color fine quality linen fabric. This classic men's long loose fitting floor length duster motoring coat jacket has a double breasted style with wooden button front closures, a fold over collar, long full sleeves with gathered inner cuff lining, a kick pleat slit back and front pockets. The coat measures 52 inches long, with 48 inch waist, 48 inch chest, a 17 inch back and 25 inch long sleeves. This coat would have been worn to protect ones clothing from the dust and mud when traveling, riding and driving in a motor car. It is in good clean wearable condition and is a wonderful piece of early motoring textile art! $250 |
