This amazing antique Edwardian Titanic era black net jet beaded sequined evening gown dress dates from 1912. It is made of a layered sheer black net fabric covered with black sequins and jet beadwork done in a floral starburst starfish pattern design overdress and black silk dress lining underneath. This beautiful beaded ball gown dress is a long floor length, with a slight back train, an uneven asymmetrical hemline skirt, square neckline, 3/4 length sleeves, with tiered ruffled cuffs, a beaded side sash drape trim, beaded sequin fringe trim hanging down the front, top and snaps for closure along the front and back side. It is fully lined, with wonderful construction details and is quite heavy. The dress is a large size, measuring 55 inches long, with a 34 inch waist and 38 bust. It is in good condition, with only a few tiny holes in the net. This is truly a rare and exceptional piece of wearable beaded art!
