This exquisite vintage Edwardian Titanic era embroidered white batiste net lace tiered dress dates from 1912. It is made of a fine white cotton batiste fabric top, with raised padded satin stitch embroidery work and valenciennes bobbin lace inserts, with a sheer white net skirt and sleeves. This lovely lace dress is a long floor length, with a layered bib style overlay top, lace trim collar, 3/4 length sleeves and a layered tiered scalloped ruffle skirt. It is fully lined in silk on the skirt, cotton on the top, with hook closures hidden inside the front. The dress measures 45 inches long, with 34 inch hips, a 24 inch waist and 34 inch bust. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable lace art!
