This exquisite Victorian era antique white battenburg tape lace wedding gown bridal dress dates from 1900. It is made of a white sheer filmy linen stitch, fine tape lace, with button hole stitching, connecting brides and bars and a embroidered net lace floral medallion insert on the front yoke. This beautiful bridal wedding gown dress is a long floor length with a scalloped hemline skirt, a pouter pigeon top, high collar neckline, long tapered sleeves which come to a point at the cuff, is sheer, unlined and has hook closures on the back. The dress measures 67 inches long, with a 26 inch waist, 36 inch bust, 14 inch circumference neck and 23 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, with only a few breaks in the connecting bride bars. This is truly an extraordinary piece of wearable antique lace art!
